WINCHESTER, VA, November 2, 2022—Martha Perea has joined Blue Ridge Hospice as Director of Clinical Marketing, where she will be responsible for the organization’s community liaisons and hospice admissions teams.
Perea brings more than a decade of experience in hospice and healthcare sales and marketing to her new role. She and the community liaisons reporting to her are responsible for outreach efforts to hospitals, physicians, nursing homes, assisted living communities and the public to educate them about the benefits of a timely referral for quality, compassionate end-of-life care. The admissions team is responsible for working with patients, their families, and the referring healthcare provider to ensure a timely and hassle-free admission to hospice services.
Martha comes to Blue Ridge from a previous position as a Professional Physician Liaison for a leading cardiovascular physician practice in Prince William County, Va. For nearly eight years before that she served as a Sales and Marketing Representative for Capital Caring Health, Falls Church, VA. During her tenure she contributed to the organization’s substantial growth first in Prince William County and later in the Fredericksburg, VA., market. Previously she served as a Marketing Representative in the Manassas office of a national home health and private duty nursing agency.
As a certified medical interpreter and fluent in Spanish, Martha also ran her own firm that provided translation services to healthcare offices, social service organizations, government entities, and private individuals.

Martha earned her Associates degree in General Studies from Northern Virginia Community College. She has plans to obtain her bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management.
A native of Colombia, South America, she was raised in Boston, Ma. Martha is now a long-time resident of Prince William County who resides in Gainesville. She is the mother of an adult son and an adult daughter.
