Winchester, VA – October 23, 2024 – Blue Ridge Hospice is proud to announce the opening of the Center for Hope & Healing, a dedicated facility offering comprehensive grief support services for individuals and families in our community. This new center is designed to provide a safe and supportive environment for those navigating the complexities of grief and loss.
At the Center for Hope & Healing, Blue Ridge Hospice aims to empower individuals to express their emotions, connect with others who share similar experiences, and find solace during their healing journey. Our services include specialized programs, workshops, support groups, and individual counseling, all tailored to meet the diverse needs of our community.
“Grief is a deeply personal journey, and we recognize that each individual’s experience is unique,” said Jason Parsons, President and CEO of Blue Ridge Care (Blue Ridge Hospice and Blue Ridge Independence at Home). “The Center for Hope & Healing is a crucial resource for our community, offering compassionate support and a sense of belonging for those facing loss. We are committed to ensuring that no one has to navigate this journey alone.”
The center is open to everyone in the community, regardless of whether they have previously utilized hospice services. We believe in fostering a sense of community and understanding, helping to break the silence surrounding grief and encouraging open conversations about loss.
“Through our programs, our focus is to provide hope and healing to those in need in our community,” said Susana Calley, LCSW, Director of the Blue Ridge Hospice Center for Hope & Healing. “We invite everyone to join us in this initiative to support those who are grieving and to participate in our various offerings.”
To support the vital services provided by the Center for Hope & Healing, donations are graciously accepted. These contributions ensure that our programs remain accessible to all members of the community.
