Paws & Purrs is a program developed by Blue Ridge Hospice that provides free pet services to our patients to give comfort, stability, and assurance to pet owners in their last stage of life.

At Blue Ridge Hospice, we care for our patients and their families — including their pets! A lot of our patients who are pet owners find it difficult to know that their beloved pets will be left behind once they die. We offer pet services including pet walking, food, veterinarian visits, and groomer appointments. We provide this care during the patient’s hospice experience as well as after their passing. We also help plan the future for the pet. It often puts our patient’s at ease to know that their furry, fuzzy, or feathered friend will be taken care of.

We are celebrating the launch of this program with a delightful evening at Muse Vineyards located in Woodstock, VA. We invite you to join us and become a Founding Pack Member of the Paws & Purrs program!
